Who Are We?

Family Tree Books is a small, independent children's picture book publisher based in the UK.

We publish picture books for children aged 3–7, with particular care for sensory-friendly design, so that neurodiverse children can enjoy the reading experience just as much as anyone else.

How We Started

The company began humbly as a keepsake I planned for my two nephews. I had ideas in my head and wrote them down without expectation.

Later, thanks to wonderful illustrations by my talented UK-based friend, Rhiannon, these stories came to life. As their proud Uncle, I was delighted to see my nephews represented in this way.

Where We’re Going

I am incredibly pleased with Family Tree Books' achievements to date, and I'd like to tell more stories, inspired by my nephews.

Over time, I hope the Family Tree Books branches will continue to blossom, contributing to an ever-growing community of young readers as they create memories with their own families while enjoying these books together.
